Mount Bessan is a beautiful mountain located in Shirakawa, Japan. There is no official website for Mount Bessan, but visitors can access the mountain by taking a bus or driving to the base of the mountain. The bus runs daily from Shirakawa Station to the base of the mountain. The cost for the bus is around 600 yen.

There is no admission fee to access the mountain, and visitors are free to hike up the mountain at their own pace. The hike is moderately difficult and takes around 2-3 hours to reach the summit.

Once at the summit, visitors can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding areas, including the traditional thatched-roof houses of Shirakawa-go. It is recommended to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the scenery before making the descent back down the mountain.
